La Salle Handball Club is proud to announce Visit Malta as a sponsor of the Club’s international trip to Sicily for the Isole Cup, held in Modica between 4 and 7 September 2025.

This overseas event marked a major milestone for La Salle Handball Club, as the Club travelled with a large delegation of nursery, women’s, and men’s teams.

The trip formed part of the Club’s long-term strategy to strengthen its international presence while supporting player development at every level.

A unified and professional weekend

Throughout the weekend, players took part in competitive matches, collective conditioning sessions, and recovery activities, creating a unified and professional environment across all squads.

Results and progress

On court, performances were highly encouraging. The nursery teams won the tournament in both the U11 and U14 categories.

The women’s senior team recorded victories against strong local opposition, and the men’s senior team remained unbeaten throughout the competition.

Coaches noted clear progress in technical ability, teamwork, and confidence across all age groups.

Beyond the matches

Beyond competition, the trip strengthened bonds between players, staff, and families, while also creating valuable networking opportunities with international clubs.
